Description : Deals with clients and interact with them via various
channels: phone, chat, email. etc. Develops relationships
with national, international and regional tourism based
publications and writers, tours operators and travel agents.
Develops Internal and External tours. Prepares and
releases press kit to media; builds campaigns and stories for
unique selling points Manages relation with suppliers.
Designs, develops and conducts familiarization tours for
media, event planning, tour operators and travel agents.
Implements cooperative advertising programs integrating
the tourism related segments that exist (merchants,
food/lodging, wineries, the Arts, recreation, state parks and
the fairground) Promotes attractions & community events
to visitors. Contributes to and monitors the flow of new
web content. Coordinates with the web maintenance
provider to create a bi­monthly report on the effectiveness
of the website. Gathers data and prepares annual tourism
situational analysis Participates in radio talk shows;
provides current and updated information to the press.
Represents Egypt in joint planning sessions to establish
regional tourism activities; serve local committees that
enhance tourism and foster Attends meeting, seminars,
conventions, and workshops to further knowledge, stays
informed of the changes in the tourism industry, and
exchange information. Coordinates special events Prepares
and delivers presentations to both local and regional civic
and governmental organizations on Tourism. Keeps
updated advertising history files and archives ad materials.
Qualifications : Knowledge of tourism industry Excellent communication
skills • Experience in marketing presentations • Able to
design and compose publications • Ability to deal with all
kinds of people. ­execute the Marketing Plan ­facilitate an
active relationship with Organizes various media
information and makes affordable and effective media buys
to promote tourism . • Collects, evaluates and responds (as
appropriate) to customer feedback.
